PROJECTS
Association has always supported institutions that provide services for
special needs children, whether through assistance to educational or
vocational training programs, modern special needs equipment, staff
support, facilities, or emergency funds. Beneficiary institutions have
been urban, rural and camp-based and located in all India, where
non-governmental organizations provide the only services to special
needs children and youth. The integration of special needs children into
regular programs whenever possible is encouraged in all projects
AIITA E-SAKSHAR Project –“ Bade Saksharta se computer Saksharta ki aur“
The project aims to connect each household in the India with local
self-government bodies through the Internet. Bridging the digital divide
with the deployment of information technology for the improvement of
socioeconomic scenario of the society.

“Build a Computer Literate India”
Education - which opens the door to better employment opportunities - is
one of the surest ways of helping to reduce poverty and improve an
individual's quality of life. Computer literacy is a vital part of the
education process, particularly with growing technologically based
societies. In response to this shift, AIITA has been providing computer
literacy opportunities for people struggling financially in India
Today's world is unforeseen without Information Technology where
computer's is a must. New generation is moving a step further towards
Information Technology field. The people from the informal sector need
to be trained so that their future can be brightened up. The members
demanded that AIITA should think about such peoples. They suggested that
teaching computers to literate people would be a step further. A unique
thing of imparting computer training to the adolescent boys & girls to
make them Literate to Computer Literate by the students who had already
taken training from our institution of informal sector has been
undertaken by IT NGO to teach & make computer literate to 3 students
Free on the occasion of “World Computer Literacy Day”. By this mission
in India with our 300 Institutional members 1 lacs slum students will
get benefited.
The concept of offering computer training courses on the occasion of
“World Computer Literacy Day” AIITA believes that if the right values
are instilled in these students at this stage it will reflect positively
in their development and achievements in future.AIITA wishes all
students for self reliance in their future life. The course aims to
provide computer skills as well as English Languages in order to
increase their job opportunities, to give them life skills and to
encourage their personal development.
AIITA offers E-Sakashar courses with their Institutional Members at
non-profit base. It runs four batches a day and imparts this training to
the students in collaboration with our 300 reputed Institutional Members
i.e. computer training institute in all over India. On completion of the
course AIITA acknowledges the students with the certificate which helps
them for better future opportunities.
This noble cause that has been undertaken by AIITA has helped a lot to
increase their knowledge and has definitely to helped them to get a job
for themselves and share the responsibilities of their family. AIITA has
successfully implemented the course with an increasing number of
participants. |
